Question
QUESTION: Are you able to answer a question about a kegerator and the Co2 tank?

ANSWER: yes.What is your question?

QUESTION: I have had our kegerator for over 3 years and it has worked perfectly. Our keg is over half full, and we recently filled the Co2 tank and the keg worked for one day then the Co2 was empty. We thought it was a bad Co2 tank and  we replaced it and the keg again worked for one day then the Co2 tank went empty again. Apparently, it doesn't seem to be the Co2 tank. What should I look into next? Could it be a bad keg or do you think it could be a bad valve? My husband doesn't know what is wrong with it that is why I am trying to figure it out so he will fix it for me! Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer
First check for valve and fitting leaks.Use soapy water,on the valve and fittings, with the CO2 on.I f there are any leaks, the soapy water will begin to bubble. If thats the case, replace any washers, then recheck. It may be necessary to replace the regulator. If the CO2 was being lost into the beer,at dispensing, you would have problems when dispensing your beer.If the CO2 container is kept in the fridge the oxygen level in that confined level would be low,if CO2 were leaking from the keg Strike a match in the fridge, and see if it goes out immediately.

Let me know your findings
