Question
I was wondering if you could point me and a direction on to were to start brewing at home if there are classes i can take i am here in Colorado that would be helpful thanks

Answer
Brandon,

I think the best thing to do is find a home brewing supply store, go there and tell them you're a beginner.  Let them guide you through the equipment, the basic books and supplies.

You could read as well, there are lots of good basic books, but the advantage of talking to someone local is that they will have the supplies you'll read about and they'll really want to help you.  You'll also get plugged into the local brewing community right from the get-go.

Where are you in Colorado?  I found these supply stores, but if you get me more info I might be able to find a closer one:

I have been a home brewing for about 20 years, been a member of the Chicago Beer Society, and designed a beer-tasting course and curriculum. I would love to encourage you along the road of beer appreciation as well as beer brewing.
