the following website has a chart of alcohol content of beer and ale.The alcohol is reported by volume.In the USA beer alcohol is reported by weight.To convert alcohol from volume to weight multiply by .80 Example:5.50 alcohol by volume to weight=5.50x.80=4.40 alcohol by weight.http://www.realbeer.com/edu/health/calories.php
