Question
what app. is the fire part of fire brewing?

Answer
There are 2 possible answers here:

1. It's a marketing term with no real meaning.
2. Some (many/most?) brew kettles are heated with steam, which produces a gentle heat. Some brew kettles are heated with direct flame, which produces hot spots on the kettle that can cause caramelization and other browning to occur, thus changing the flavor of the finished beer.
