Beer/hops harvesting

Question
after i have harvested the hops what is the best way to dry them and know they are ready for brewing?

Answer
That depends on the quantity. If you have only a small amount, the easiest way to dry them is to spread them out on a screen, give them some air flow, and wait a few days. When the total weight is down to about 10-15% of the original weight when harvested, they are dry enough to put into storage.

If you have a much larger quantity of harvested hops, you will need some specialized equipment. The important things are low heat and adequate air circulation.
