Question
Mr. Westemeier, I found an old ashtray with Silvertop beer on it. Could you tell me Who, when, produced Silertop beer & if it is stiil made or when it stopped being produced. Thank You

Answer
Silver Top beer was made by the Duquesne Brewing Co. in Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh). At one time it was one of the 10 biggest breweries in the U.S., but went out of business in the 70s.
They had a number of brand names, of which Silver Top was one.
I don't know anything about what old advertising items are worth, but you might be able to sell it on eBay or someplace like that.
