Question
Is it possible to grow hops im my area?
Our elevation is aprox. 4200 feet and is in south
Idaho ( Burley ) zip 83318 I have a small field
that I may want to try.

Answer
I would say you should have no problem growing hops in your area.Idaho is 1 of three states where hops are grown.Washington,and Oregon are the other 2.There is a big hop growing area,just outside of Boise,(Treasure Valley)Anheuser Busch has it's own hop growing fields,and facilities in Northern Iowa,near the canadian border.(Bonners farm)i believe.Hops are harvested in August and September,so the growing season is just about over
