Question
I took a tour of the Anhauser-Busch plant in Merrimack, NH recently.  The guide was talking about past beer styles, and said “there was an oyster lager, actually made with oyster meat.”  I thought that sounded like Clydesdale droppings.  What do you think?

The guide is partially correct.Some English Stouts were made with oysters (shucked),oysters unopened.and oyster juice only.All of which were added to the wort during boiling.At what point in the boiling process depended on the brewer.I don't think there are any Oyster Stouts produced commercially today.There were some micro-brewers into Oyster Stouts.One that comes to mind is:
