Question
While my question is not directly a part of your expertise, i really can find no where else to find an answer to my question.  I will be having a huge party for a close friend of mine in a few months and the issue came up of beer storage.  I thought about using my garage, but then I remebered how hot it gets in there.  I live out in arizona and the temperatures sometimes get to be 120 outside.  Inside the garage it can get to be 130 or even 140.  Will the store baught beer bottles get too hot and the caps blow off making a huge mess?

Answer
no the caps won't blow off;however, storing beer at those temperatures will ruin the taste,in as little as 2days, at those temperatures. The beer will not taste fresh, but old, stale, winey, oxidized, etc. The longer the product stays at those temperatures the worse the taste becomes, until it is no longer palatable.38 to 42F is the best condition.Room temperature will be ok,for about 3 months.
