Dear Alan, Been trying to find recipe for dandelion and
burdock as a soft drink for the kids. any idea where to find the ingredients also,as supermarket d&b is chemicals

Brian,

First I hate to admit it but had to research Burdock. After looking at Burdock and Dandelions (I had knowledge of Dandelions) I believe that you have two possible paths.  

1. Buy the seeds and grow your own.  This I believe will give you the freshest and will guarantee that you cultivate what you want and not something else.  This is especially important when it comes to Burdock as it seems to be like Rhubarb where only parts of the plant are eatable. Caution: It seems that in some case you may be purchasing items that are mixed with other night shade plants which could be deadly. 2. You might be able to purchase the items at a health food store or a Chinese herbal store.

I apologize for not know where you can purchase them.  I did a few web searches but could not find anywhere selling them online.  

Dandelions can be found growing wild and that is the only way (except garden grown) that I have ever seen anyone obtain them.
