is it best to use plastic fizzy pop bottles or glass for storage at the moment use ing plastic beer fine but wine has gone vinergry after only a week

Aways use glass.I'm confused is it beer or wine you are describing as vinegary.Poor sanitation,and sterilization,will cause a infection,to give that taste.Also lots of exposure to air,due to improper handling at bottling,or during storage,will impart that taste also.For this taste to have developed that quickly,I would suspect an infection took place.
