Beer/untapped keg

Question
Do you have to keep an untapped keg cold? or can it sit in my garage for two weeks before its drank?

Answer
If you are talking about a comercially supplied keg, you'll have to ask the distributor who is selling you the keg. The process for kegging is different from bottling.  You normally must keep the keg refrigerated, but some brands may be pasteurized, and then could be kept without refrigeration.

Hope this helps!

Expertise

I have been brewing beer at home for more than 10 years. Would like to help other people get started. I can recommend equipment, methods, ingredients, and estimate what it would cost to get set up. I have travelled a lot in Europe, and have tried many kinds of beer.

Experience

More than ten years of home brewing.
