Beginner Investing/Earnings reports

Question
I'm doing paper trading on historical stock data, and finding I could probably time my trades much better if I knew when past earnings reports for the stock were released, as well as a summary of those reports. Do you know where I can find such info?

Thank you!

Answer
Darrin,

I always look to google or yahoo finance for earnings data.  They often have historical data as well.

However, I am not an information expert.

If you are in college, I recommend that you go to the university library and ask a librarian for help with financial databases. That will probably be the most useful way for you to spend your time.

Best,

Steve
