Question
I am currently undergrad in business. Really interested in learning how to invest in the market as a long term profession. any suggestions?

Answer
The internet is a great resource.  A good place to start is yougmoney.com.  Young Money also has a magazine that may be available at your college campus.  Another website for beginners is investopedia.com.  It's an encyclopedia of investing terms.  Brokerage firms have articles and other information on investing.  Check out Fidelity, Vanguard, or Charles Schwabb.

Another place to get information on investing is your local library.

If you know anyone that is a successful investor, there is nothing better than a mentor.  Ask questions. Most people are happy to share what they are doing, what's working, and what mistakes they've learned from.  Talk to people who invest personally, and professionally.  Talk to financial advisors/counselors, people who teach investing courses, and anyone you know with a high net worth (who may be able to recommend their financial advisor).

Any of these paths will get you started in the right direction.
