Beginner Investing/Technical Vs. Fundamental Anaysis

Question
Hi Gina,

I am set on doing my own future investing & read where evaluating stocks using both technical & fundamental analysis is sometimes better than only one method.

There must be many books written regarding the subject of fundamental versus technical analysis or how best to incorporate both in investing. From your experience, would you be able to recommend any of the best one(s)? I like Amazon.com reviews but I might miss some that aren't on their site.

Thank you greatly.

Answer
I can't think of a really good book that discusses this topic; however, I do have another suggestion.  Try your local library, as well as the internet because both of those sources are free and would provide quite a bit on the basic level.  Then you can proceed to spend money on a book that goes into the subject on a deeper and more complicated level.  Even then, you can save money by buying a used version of the book you want on half.com or Ebay.
