Question
Hello: i was interested in a penny stock called Copper Creek Gold Corp V.CPV. when i type in cpv. i get 2 companies , v.cpv and cbs cpv. please expain. thank you

Answer
Jerome,

ticker similarities can cause more than one company to show up on a search for a stock.

CPV is copper creek gold in Canada.
(Public, TSX.V: CPV)

CPV is the ticker for CBS Corp in the US.
(Public, NYSE: CPV)

All systems use different means to differentiate equities on different markets.

In this case TSX is Toronto Stock Exchange and NYSE is NEw York Stock Exchange.

You just want to make sure you have the right ticker in the right market for the Canadian company.

Best,

Steve
