QuestionI'M ALMOST 21 YEARS OLD. I NEED TO START INVESTING MY MONEY INTO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE. I'M JUST NOT VERY EDUCATED WHEN IT COMES TO INVESTING IN STOCKS. I JUST NEED SOME HELP TO GET STARTED.
Answerhttp://www.morningstar.com/
I would recommend that you go to this site. There is much material up regarding general investments on this site. I would then recommend that you go to the local library and read the Morningstar book. The book is many thousands of pages, and you really can not get all the information online since it will take awhile.
I would recommend that you do not invest in stocks, but only mutual funds. Too many people invest in fewer than ten stocks, and take too much risk. A mutual fund is made up of 100s of stock positions and they really do better than buying a stock position here and there. If you still need to invest in stocks, against the recommendation, you might want to look over the Valueline book while you are at the public library.
