Question
Do you know of a software or tool (preferably free) that can show the growth an investment in a basket of stocks?  For example, I would like to know the growth of an investment of $100 invested in a portfolio of MSFT, PFE and JNJ between Jan 1 2004 and Jan 1 2005.

Thanks

Answer
Johnny,
Thank you for your email and question! Unfortunately I am not familiar with any software that will fit your needs. It is possible to get returns for any stocks of course for any historical time period from such sites as finance.yahoo.com, but not for the actual dollar growth that I am aware of. I am sorry that I could not be of more help, please do not hesitate to follow up with me if I can every be of more service in the future,

Sincerely,
