Is there a limit on how many times in one day that you can buy and sell the same stock?

Answer
There is no limit on how many times. Usually persons that do this loose their money, however. I would not recommend that kind of a turnover. It smacks of the day trading behavior that got everyone in trouble 6 years ago. I have seen this before in the 80's and the 70's. When people start day trading, it is the time to avoid owning any stocks or bonds. Seems as if your question is a good indicator that the market is about to turn downward, and sharply.
