I just checked the 'Financial Reports' at valuengine.com and am VERY disappointed and confused.

Example, ASM INTERNATIONAL NV (ASMI on the NYSE) FY 2004 audited results were published
25 February 2005 and Q3 2004 results have been readily available for quite some time now.

However, at valuengine.com the latest 10-Q for ASMI is Q2 2004 and the latest 10K is for FY 2003.

REGARDLESS of whether you need this data to operate your stock screening programs, it would be in the best interest of your CLIENTS if you would keep the 'Financial Infromation' UP TO DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It infuriates me that I come here, screen for stocks but when I look at the financial data I find that its not up to date!!!

COME ON PAUL, GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!!!!!

While we typically expect more professional emails when anyone communicates with ValuEngine, I do understand your concerns. It is true that ValuEngine does not use these financial balance sheets and income statements that you refer to in any of our models or research, and provide them for convenience to our users. But of course they should be correct and as up to date as possible or it is of no value.

You mention in your message that Q4 and annual 2004 report for ASMI was published on Feb. 25, 2005. That was about two weeks ago, I am not sure how long it takes for the information to be recorded and sent to ValuEngine in our data feed. We purchase all of this balance sheet and income statements from CapitalIQ (www.capitalIQ.com), and have never had a problem in the past. There may be some hold up in the data feed for ASMI. I did a spot check for several other companies, and we are not typically showing q4 or 2004 annual data for any that I looked up. I do realize that Q3 is missing also for ASMI, so this seems to be a quarter behind the data we have for other companies.
We'll check with CapitalIQ on this right away. As soon as they update their data, the new information automatically appears on our website through the automated feed.
