Question
I have five hundred dollars that I would like to invest in something and I have no idea how to invest or where. I have never made an investment befor so any advise would help.

Answer
Go to a local bank and invest in US Savings bonds. They can be purchased in small amounts and scheduled over time. They have a high yield and no risk. Otherwise, look to a quality mutual fund. Find this in the Morningstar book found in the local library, and this is a large book that is for free to look up mutual funds. You should probably stick to US Saving Bonds since the rate of return is going to be much better with slower equity markets.
