Question
Hi Dr de Beauchamp
My question is regarding the way of choosing the right brokerage company. I'm a beginning investor and I really need a tip which one is the best.
Inicially I was really serious considering Edward Jones basing my opinion on the Arthur Levitt book 'Take on the street' but lately I heard that this broker start to have the same problem as other brokerage companies which are taking in favour their home companies. Please let me know which way is the best to evaluate the best one(the less expensive and the best quality).
Thank You very much.
The best regards

Answer
Edward Jones will probably give you more time and attention than the big 13. Waddell is another fine place to go. Schwab seems to have more help now days and a good discount place. You might find a small regional in your area that also would help you.
