Hi Robert

Can I find out how many a particular stock is being shorted by using Yahoo or msn or Reuter?   Where can I find it if I can?

Absolutely. I normally use Yahoo! doe this. When you pull up a stock select "key statistics" on the left menu. The "Share Statistics" section of this page will show this information for you. Here is an example:
