Question
Hello, I am 12 years old and I have decided to try and become an investor.  Please tell me what and how I can put money in stock, ect.  One last thing, a friend recommended some books by Dave Ramsey, please give me your opinion on that.

Answer
You should stick to mutual funds only. Do not do any stocks. You could go to the public library and read up on this topic. Mutual funds are composed of stocks and bonds. They spread the risk. Look up the Morningstar book and the Valueline book. It is best to do this research in person, since the book of Morningstar is well over 1000 pages. You will find ratings and compositions for the funds.
