I am searching for luxurious accommodations in Belize City....do you have any suggestion? Thanks.

The two best accomodations that I have personally seen are the Ft. George (Ramada) Hotel and the Great House.

The Ramada has swimming, luxurious rooms and is equivalent to a very very good hotel stateside.  I don't know the website address for the Ramada.

The Great House is substantially smaller (I believe 8 rooms total) but the rooms are individually decorated and are very large.  Try http://www.thegreahouse.com/ (I believe that is their website address). At the ground level is a wonderful restaurant - The Smokey Mermaid.

Both are located along the waterfront with easy access to the rest of Belize City.
