I may go to Belize sometime in the future.
And I need to ask two questions
Is it true one can rent a room for only $1.00 dollar (USA)
And are the people friendly?

Answer Jeff, I don't know where you can rent a room for only a dollar, at least when I was there it wasn't that cheap!
The people there are friendly. Where were you planning to go to in Belize? On the mainland or the island of Ambergris Caye? I enjoyed both places. Here is a website for the island and I think it has links on it to the mainland too. Hopefully you can get some of your answers there.
