Question
My family is taking an 8 day vacation to Maya Riviera.  We will be near the Tulum area.  We still have at least one day open to fill with something to do.  Would it be worth while to visit Belize or Belize city for a day?  Does Belize require passports?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi there-
You will need a passport, at least we did.
It would definetly not be worth it to see Belize City- not a lot to see there. If it were I, I wouldn't go for one day. Everything is spread out, and it just seems to hectic. Plus, it may not be that different from what you've experianced on your trip to justify.

Have a great time,
Daniel
