Hi Michael,  We are in the process of booking a cruise to Bermuda with 10 people on Norwegian Cruise Lines.  The price in August seems a bit less. Do you know why this would be? Also, we are docking in King's Wharf. Can you recommend a nice beach? We would like to take my 75yr. old father golfing. Can you recommend a nice course? Thanks! Kathy , Bedford, NH

Hi Kathy,

A great month to visit the gem.  I have no idea why the price is less than June, July or September.  The Atlantic can get nasty in October.  October is around the time the cruise ships end their runs to Bermuda.

Any beach along the south shore, Kathy, will be perfect.  You will find facilities at the famed Horseshoe Bay.  Do call (800-BERMUDA) and request a Handy Reference Map if you have not one yet.  A great guide to the beaches.  At the same time request the Bus Transportation Schedule too!

Port Royal is beautiful for golf and less expensive than many of the others.  Perhaps the closest to you too!  Secondly, there is a nice par 3 at the Fairmount South Hampton Princess.  Second closest for you.
