We would like to investigate the possibility of hiring a mini van to accommodate 6 plus a tour guide driver for an island tour. Can you provide sugeestions of a company that provides this. Thanks much.

Answer
Greetings Ken,

A taxi tour is a great way to see all that Bermuda has to offer. They can be hired by the hour, by the mile or by the day.  When you book your tour, be sure to ask for a certified "blue flag" tour guide who will give you a wonderful experience.  These tours vary in price.  Most of the taxis in Bermuda are actually vans so without luggage, the six of you should have no trouble.  According to www.taxibermuda.com, the "most popular taxi companies in Bermuda are:

Bermuda Taxi Radio Cabs 441-295-4141
Bermuda Taxi Operators Company 441-292-4175
B.I.U. Taxi Co-op Transportation  441-292-4476
Bermuda Taxi Services  441-295-8294
Trott Travel  441-295-0041

All of these are reputable companies and can take care of your sightseeing tour.

Also, in my rolodex, I have a card from a young man I once used to take me to the airport -- I have not spoken with him in a couple of years, but here is his company information:  Image Transport Service "Sightseeing, Airport Transfers, Weddings"  441-337-6501.  A very nice young man.  I hope he's still in business.

Enjoy your trip!  Nan
