Bermuda/Accomodations

Question
My husband and I visited Bermuda by way of a cruise ship on our honeymoon 10 years ago, and swore we'd return by air for our 10th anniversary. We are on a tight budget...where to stay? HELP!

Answer
Darcy,

If you are on a tight budget, I would suggest you stay at a guest house/apartments. They usually don't have amenities like restaurants and such, but they're quiet and they allow you to make your own food in a kitchen, etc. Some places will even have pools and maid service, and they also have excellent views of the coast and ocean.
Some places I recommend are:

Bay City (a walk into the city of Hamilton)
Greenbank Guest House (a short ferry ride into the city of Hamilton)
Wade's Garden Inn (Southampton)
Blue Horizon's Guest House (Warwick)
Edgehill Manor Guest House (A short walk into Hamilton)
Mazarine by the Sea (Just outside the city of Hamilton)
Sandpiper Apartments (Warwick)
Granaway Guest House (Southampton Parish)

Most of these places are under $200 per night, which is inexpensive for Bermuda!

If you are looking for a hotel, the most inexpensive would be Grotto Bay Hotel and the Coco Reef Hotel.

I hope this was helpful!
