Question
We will be visiting in early July.My daughter is 9 years old and has some horseback riding experience. Not a lot but some. The stable I have researched said a child must be at least ten years old.Is there another stable or similar beach horseback experience we can do with her? Will the stable allow her to ride with an adult? Also what is the rate for chartered reef fishing? We will be staying at the Southampton Fairmont Princess. Is this right on the beach?Any other recommendations you can provide would be very much appreciated. We are already booked for the Dolphin Quest and are considering helmet diving.
               Thank you!

Answer
Sorry for the late reply, I haven't had proper computer access for a bit.
They will most likely, if anything, allow your daughter to ride with an adult, but will not allow her to ride by herself. You can also do horse and carriage rides (mostly in Hamilton) if you'd like something similar. Also, Teceira Stables may allow something else. Chartered reef fishing is fairly reasonable, compared to deep sea fishing, and is usually like $500 for half day. Baxter's reef fishing is quite good, and the Jolly Roger does group fishing, if you want something for a cheaper price.
The Fairmont Southampton is on a hill, with a private (with access to public) beaches on one side, and the private dock on the other where the fairmont ferry comes, as well as the waterlot steakhouse and sea venture water sports.
Helmet diving would be a fun experience, especially since you only have to be 5 to do it, so your daughter would have lots of fun. Also, jet skiing is available, where she can ride on the back of a triple, or a double. You can also do kayaking and boat rentals for just the 3 of you.
I would also recommend crystal caves, the bermuda aquarium and zoo, glassbottom tours (they have glow worm tours, turtle tours, and many more that are not just simply glassbottom). The Fairmont Southampton concierge can make a lot of more recommendations for you.
Side note-if you are looking to make dinner reservations, try to make that as soon as you can, places book very fast!
I hope this information was helpful.
