Question
I am thinking about taking my family on a cruise to Bermuda leaving from NY the first week in August. What are the chances of getting caught in a hurricane at this time of year?

Answer
Linda,
To be perfectly honest, there may be a hurricane around that time of year. But, that doesn't meant it'll be bad. First of all, we have had only one, and it's been a glorified tropical storm which is nothing. Second, the first week of August is not a very high time for hurricanes, they tend to come more in late August and September. I would take the chance if I were you. Worse comes to worse, you'll have one less day of sunshine!
