Question
QUESTION: Our family will be arriving in Bermuda on the explorer of the seas 7-11-09 at
8am. We were at the fairmont 30 years ago and remember how pretty the
beaches were. This time we are celebrating my Mom's 80th birthday. We have
11 of us from age 15-83. We would like to take a private van to the beautiful
beaches we remember, to show our kids. Can anyone accommodate all of us?
It would be fun to stay together instead of splitting up into cabs, but I would
like to eliminate the cruise bus tours! Also, how is the snorkling from the
beaches?

ANSWER: Jennifer,

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been getting my normal notification emails from the site, and I just happened to check the site today with 4 questions waiting! So again, I apologize.

To accommodate you all at a reasonable price, I suggest you contact CEO Transport. They have a large van for rent. They can take you down to the beaches and wherever you'd like.

They're contact info is

They will cost more than 2 cabs, but will be worth it if you want to stay together. Also, snorkeling is best from Church Bay. It's a smaller south shore beach, but is really good for snorkeling. Many of the other beaches you can snorkel from, but they won't have the reefs like Church Bay does.

I hope this was helpful!

QUESTION: Does Church Bay have snorkel equipment for rent? Is this beach less crowded
than some of the other south shore beaches?

Answer
Church Bay will be much less crowded because it is a small beach that is not the best for lounging for hours at a time as many people like to do, but is great for a snorkel and beach trip. There is a guy (whose name evades me at the moment) who has a stall that rents snorkel equipment, noodles, etc. He is bound to be there any given day with good weather. You can rent things from him, in kids and adult sizes.
