Question
Michael my fiance' and i are planning a trip around the first of Sept. to Bermuda.I was wondering if this was a good time to travel to Bermuda? Would we have to fear of hurricanes or tornados during this time of year there?

Answer
Hi Mabeline,

September is a fabulous time to visit the Gem.  You will absolutely love it! The weather is most perfect as to temperature both air and sea surface.  Humidity won't be stifling either.

Hurricane season run June through September Mabeline.  That encompasses the entire high season.  Not to worry although there are never any guarantees Mabeline.

Linda and I will be again travelling to Bermuda the last week of August into September.  I don't worry about hurricanes.  We were hit a few years back when Fabian stalled over the West end.  It was violent but the next day the sun was out. There was quite a bit of devastation.

Nobody should make hurricane a consideration when planning a vacation to Bermuda.  The hurricanes are formed a couple thousand miles south southwest across the ocean from South America.  You know the pattern of most.  Caribbean, Haiti, PR, Cuba, Florida ... or Caribbean, Caymans, Gulf of Mexico and Central America or Gulf Coast.  Occasionally they travel into the north Atlantic, but not often.

Don't think hurricane.  Would you figure a hurricane even more so for a trip to Florida, or the Caribbean. You would have to.  OK?

You will absolutely love Bermuda.  A paradise, an enchanted island.  Lovely in all ways.

Happy planning!
Michael
