Question
As an Nigerian national traveling to Bermuda, must I have an American visa to travel intransit through San Juan? I am travelling from Grenada to Bermuda and the air route is through American territory. What documents must I have to reach Bermuda? Thanks.

Answer
Nancy, in most cases, a valid passport is necessary for you to enter Bermuda as well as the United States.

Check your airline's website for information regarding necessary documentation for international travel from Grenada. You might also visit the US Transportation Security Administration website at: http://www.tsa.gov

While I think I know the answer to your visa question, I dare not present myself as an expert in this area of Bermuda travel.

For your convenience, though, I've cut a pasted the web address for the air travel page on the Bermuda Tourism website. Hope it helps.
