Question
When travelling to Bermuda, are there any requirements in relation to the length of time that you passport is valid for after your visit?

For example, when travelling to the Czech republic your passport must be valid for three months after you depart from the Czech republic or you are not allowed to enter the country?
Thank you

Answer
Hi Christina,

You must be a first time visitor.  You're in for a treat.

From the US a valid passport is not required.  The immigration department will accept an expired passport and it doesn't matter when it expired as long as the photo is a clear resemblance to the holder.

Also accepted is the following combination:  A valid drivers license with photo and the individual's birth certificate from the municipality where from it issued, but it must have their official "raised" seal upon it.

Arriving from other parts of the world I would advise going to the Bermuda Department of Immigration website.

Happy planning!
