Bermuda/Private tour

Question
We are traveling to Bermuda. Four of us in our group. One is handicapped. We
are trying to arrange a private tour by car (not taxi). Have talked to Byways
Bermuda. They sound great, but use mini buses and our friend feels like a car
would be better. Any ideas? Thanks, Chris

Answer
Hello Christine,

The folks at Byways Bermuda have counseled you well.  The number of cars in Bermuda is limited to legal residents/property owners.  Those that are on the island are small.  That's why mopeds and scooters are so popular.  Taxi and tour companies use mini buses/mini vans.  This isn't unusual. By the way, taxi companies can provide wonderful tours of the entire length of Bermuda or any part you choose. Trust the counsel of the locals and you'll be very comfortable.

Enjoy!
