QuestionWhat is the typical climate in April. plans are to go to Ariel Sands.
thank you.
AnswerHi b,
On an average b, daytime temperature run in the low 70's. The past five years April has averaged for the month 72, 73,74, 75, and 71F.
These last five years sea temperatures have averaged for the month of April 69, 68, 70, 70, and 68F respectively. So it seems you can take that sea temperature to the bank.
Last year the month's rain reached 5". The four years before it reached 2.4", 8.3", 1.9" and 2.5". Typically it is not a terrible rainy month.
How does this shake out? If you are loooking for relaxation, golf, and an overall lovely vacation April will work. My liking is the ocean. This time of year is tremendous for walking the pink sand beaches and dunes of the Southshore, riding horses along the seacost, enjoying seaside pubs, and riding the ferry from Alboy's Point to HM Dockyard, but not frollicking in the aqua-marine waters for long periods.
Do enjoy Ariel. It is a quaint property.
Happy planning!
Michael
