Question
I'm a single woman who needs to escape from a stressful situation for about a week.  I'm looking for a small, comfortable, intimate inn (or B&B) where I can relax, stroll into town for a cup of coffee, read a book in the shade or on a veranda, pass the time with collegial guests/innkeeper or take a walk...ride a bike...

Answer
Dear Mary Ann,

Your consideration of Bermuda for refief of stressful times is superative.

You've pinned down limitations or requirements that can all be met.  Unbelievable!  Do go to www.rosedonbermuda.com to checkout this place out.

It is not the least expensive, nor the only one available but my experiance tells me that you would be comfortable and safe, relaxed reading a book from your porch or poolside perhaps awaiting your breakfast to be served at your side.

The Rosedon is rated a small hotel but is more as we think in the states a B&B.  It has two wings to either side of a lush pool area and the main home.  Complimentary tea and finger sandwiches are served in the afternoon daily in the common areas where you could meet with other guests if you like, or sit on the veranda simply enjoying the tea and essance of Bermuda. It resides on Pittsbay Road across from the Hamilton Princess and harbour, is only a short four or five minute walk to Front Street where you will find world-class shopping, many pubs and restaurants, transportation via the ferry and the bus terminal to all island destinations that may be of interest to you.  They also offer complimentary R.T. transportation to a southshore famed pink sanded beach if you like.

The Rosedon will surely relieve you of stress, as will the tiny 21 square miles of Bermuda.  Linda and I have found Bermuda to be enchanted, seemingly ushering us into a stress free dimension. So with this in mind Mary Ann be assured that no matter where you select to stay in Bermuda you will find more than temporary relief;  a wholeness of body, mind and spirit ... a rejuvenation.  You're in for a treat and a half.  What Bermuda offers is wonder in sensory perception. Wherever you look, in the way you will be treated, and from the culture of Bermuda you will find it a paradise.

Do visit www.bermudatourism.com or call them at
800)BERMUDA and ask them to forward you a visitors package and include a Handy Reference Map and Transportation Schedule.

Don't hesitate to write with any further inquiries you may have.

Happy planning!
Michael
