is the water temperature comfortable for a swim end of march?

Hello Chitstina Marie,

I don't care for being the bearer of less than wonderful news.

My information comes from a Climatology 45 year mean.  March ocean temperatures will be 66F.  April it will be 68F.  It takes so much very warm weather to change the sea surface temperature just a few degrees.  So you can take this information to the bank.

Of course cold water temperature is relative, dependent on where you come from.   I hail from the Northeat US, just north of Boston and the ocean may get 66F the last couple of weeks in August.  If you were from Florida this may turn you blue (it does me).  If you were from Novi perhaps 66F wouldn't sound so bad.

But generally speaking we think islands of having warm water.  Bermuda lies in the North Atlantic just 600 miles off the coast of Cape Hatteras, NC but lies in the gulf stream which is responsibe for its semi tropical weather.

Even so Chistina Marie, Bermuda will be beautiful and no doubt, if this is your first trip, you will want to return.  It is quite a little island.  Just beautiful to all the senses.  Even without going for a dip you will have the best of times.
