Bermuda/weather in bermuda in october

QuestionWe are planning to go on a short honeymoon to bermuda 10/14-17 of 2007. We want to make sure weather is warm enough to enjoy the beaches and not be stuck inside due to rain. We are planning on staying at Ariel Sands.
AnswerHello Stacy,
October 14-17 will be wonderful. Both the air and sea surface temperature will be suitable for an island vacation.
For many years Linda and I opted to visit in October. The near oppressive humidity of the summer will be past, but this season/month remains super. The data available indicates that October and June are rain months. I am in no way meaning to tell you that is will be bad weather or even a crap shoot. Just bring an umbrella. Bermuda vacationers should always bring an umbrella to the gem.
Ariel is a very nice property.
No one should ever nix a Bermuda visit based on the fear of being rained out, or hurricane season. I'm talking "rained out." Those things do happen but chances are slim. I tend to think "Bermuda High."
Have a fabulous trip.
Write if you have any further questions.
Happy planning!
