Question
How much is 1965 bottle of Seagrams VO Canadian whiskey worth? It is wrapped in original white paper with red angled ribbon. The original gold crest is on it? Please give me your opinion. I have more than 10 bottles. Meredith

Because of the high alcohol level, distilled spirits don't improve in the bottle. They do in the barrel, but once they are bottled, they don't change much at all. The good news is that your VO should taste just as good as it did the day it was bottled. The bad news is that it hasn't improved, either. And that means that it hasn't increased in value much. These bottles might sell for $35-50 now, but you would have to find the right buyer--and it would more likely be a bottle collector than a whiskey fan.
