Question
I have a bottle of Canadian Masterpiece 1965 and have looked at some auction results from the UK where a bottle was valued at 200 - 235 pounds in 2004, I had 2 and drank one it was lovely, would it be worth putting it in an auction? My regards Sonya.

Answer
Hi Sonya

I can't find a listing for this anywhere that has such a price.  Is it possible that it is not the whiskey, but the collectible bottle that is so valuable?  If your bottle is a distinctive decanter or special release, then the value can indeed be higher--but because of the bottle, not the whiskey.  In that case, you will need an antique dealer or collectible bottle collector to help you.   I know beverages, but I don't know the antique market at all.

Sorry I can't help you with that.
