Beverages/two glass bottles

Question
Hi Paul, thanks for your time. I was wondering about these two bottles I have. One is a 1/16 pint Benedictine, medium green in color. It has a Wisconsin 3 1/8 cent stamp on it. The bottow has DOM + 3. The seal is not broken and it has the majority of its labels still on. The wierd thing is, is there are two crystalized rock like objects inside.
The other bottle is also medium green, but it is a tall bottle. This one is a Fernet-Branca. The bottom has FERNET 67-1 BRANCA 1[G]67. At least it looks like a G in a box. I was just curious about them. Thanks again, Amy

Answer
H Amy

These are older bottlings of current products. The Fernet Branca is quite a bitter liqueur, and Benedictine is quite famous.  They won't have much value in the minds of wine collectors, because they don't change much in the bottle.  These are all over 30% alcohol, which preserves them well.

But you could check with antiquebottles.com  Sometimes the bottles are worth more than the liquid inside...

Hope that helps.
