Question
I have a bottle of Red Heart Jamaica Rum, 4/5 quart, unopened and still has IRS seal intact. On label it says, Product of the Island of Jamaica.Bottled by the Port of London Authority. Shipped Only by Henry White & Co. London. It is a beautiful label with a Red Heart with a smaller White Heart on the inside with a Jamaican standing on either side. I have heard this has to be at least from 1948. Is there any worth to it. Thank You Very Much, Bill

Answer
Hi Bill

Distilled beverages like this last forever because the high alcohol protects them.  But they don't improve in the bottle for the same reason.  The liquid inside this bottle is worth about $25 or so.

But the bottle itself may be worth more than that.  You'll have to check eith the guys at antiquebottles.com--they are the experts in collectible bottles.

Sorry I can't give you more exciting news.
