Question
We have an unopened bottle of the above. It's .75L and label is all in Polish. It says "Sole agents: The Stacole Co, Chicago, IL". Any idea how much it's worth?

Answer
Hi Debra

This is an odd one.  Honey wine is mead--is has a very unusual flavor--and there is still mead being made around the world.  Mead is a classic beverage of the middle ages, as it was available to many people in the poorer classes, and the fermentation helped make the water safer to drink.

Mead doesn't age very well at all, because the alcohol is not so high, and there is no acidity or tannin to protect the wine.  I am afraid that this bottle is almost certainly well past its prime--and wouldn't have any value to collectors.

Sorry I can't give you better news.
