Question
I have acquired an old bottle of Drambuie and a bottle of DOM from France that are still sealed. How do i find out how old they are and what they are worth?

Answer
HI Mike

Because distilled spirits are very high in alcohol, they don't change much over time.  The good news is that your bottles are probably quite good to drink.  The bad news is that they don't realy taste any different from a current bottling---and won't have any further value above a current bottling, either.  Sorry about that.

The only way that you can REALLY accurately date these bottles is to contact the producer.  They are the only ones who can really interpret each change in typeface, label color, or capsule.
