Question
I have 2 bottles of beams bourbon. one is from 1972 aged 175 months unopened with the tax seal still on. the other one is from 1970 aged 155 months unopened with tax seal. both bottles are genuine regal china and still in the original boxes. I was wondering what is the value of both bottles in the cases.

Answer
Hi Marc

Distilled products like this don't improve with age in the bottle the way some fine wines do--the alcohol level is too high.  SO the good news is that this is perfectly good to drink. The bad news is that it isn't worth much more than a currently bottling of the same product.

I'd estimate these to be worth about $30-40.

Sorry that I can't give you more exciting news.
