Dear Paul

Could you please tell me a value on a glenfiddich unblended scotch whisky. 86'proof,43'gay lussac,content 26 2/3fl.ozs,75 centilitres, distilled by dufftwn banffshire, singed in a green top cream botto old porcelain bottle still corked.

Hi Michelle

Distilled apirits like this are so high in alcohol that they don't change much over time, for better or for worse.  The good news is that your bottle should be just fine to drink.  The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the wine some fine wines do.  The liquid inside this bottle is probably worth about $35US.

But the bottle itself may be worth more.  Check with the experts at antiquebottles.com, to see if they have any interest.  WHile I am an expert in beverages, they are the experts in bottle collecting!
