Question
I have a sealed, signed, and numbered 25oz bottle of 1951 Calvert Masterpiece 10 yr old Canadian whisky in it's original "pleather" pouch. I also have a "Handmade Florentine Crystal" sealed bottle of 1953 Canadian Ten whisky w/an attached crystal stopper. Are either or both of these worth anything and/or drinkable ?Thanks.

Answer
Hi Georgiana

Distilled spirits like this are so high in alcohol that they don't change much over time, for better or for worse.  The good news is that these should be fine to drink.  The bad news is that they won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.  I'd estimate the value of these at something around $25-30 each.

the bottles themselves might be more collectible than the liquid inside, although I doubt it.  You could always check with the experts at antiquebottles.com

Sorry that I don't have more exciting news for you.
